Ephesians 6:13 …and having done all, to stand.
There’s an old saying, “If You Don’t Stand for Something, You’ll Fall for Anything”. With the election just 2 weeks away, what do you stand for? Are you for higher prices for groceries, gas, and just about everything else? Pastor Donnie Swaggart has a program “Preachers, Patriots, and Providence” and a CD series of the same. From listening to this, we learn how America was born with the intent of having God in every phase of our lives. One of those rights is the privilege to vote. In the recent past, we have seen a turn away from God and all that the Bible stands for. Through this time, politicians and other leaders, billionaires included, has divided this country and ha lead it into a socialist country. Socialism is an economic system which leads to a Communist, Marxist, Maoism form of government. The founding fathers formed the Constitution to protect America against such a thing to happen. Currently, we have elected officials that are of the Eastern Religions, homosexuals, transgenders, and the like, that are trying to change our country into the very thing they left behind when they or their parents migrated to America. One of the biggest Biblical issue that is being contested is abortion. If we can’t support life, then what hope of existence is there. For some time we have said we do not want to buy from China. However, we attend the movies, buy their games and subscribe to various platforms that they control. I know people that say they are not voting because their vote doesn’t count. Your vote just counted! We like to quote Zechariah 7:14 but if you look closely at that verse, there is a lot of action that takes place, first. Voting is taking action to see that the moral values you have will continue to be handed down to your children and their children. I don’t want my 1-2-3 grade child being taught about sex, gender identification, and transgender process by talking to an adult that has a button pinned on their shirt saying it is safe to talk to them. Going back to verses 13 and 14, take a stand and do the right thing, vote, not your conscious, because so many, their mind has been seared with hot iron, (1 Tim 4:2). First, pray, second, do some research, third, take a stand for what is right. Vote.
