Truth

This was written Feb 7, 2013, a day after her birth.

I was in the room of a little princess last night. So small and soft but yet her presence was known and you were captured by her every move. What a privilege to be able to call her my great grand daughter. I can’t wait to have her take hold of my finger and hold it tightly and look at me with those eyes and say “Grandpa”. Can’t wait to be able to hold her in my arms and have her feel secure and safe. She doesn’t care about the wars, political opinions, who’s right or who’s wrong, right now she feels the loving touch of a mommy that’s carried her for these months and recognizes that voice and know she’s at home, wherever she’s at. She’ll see the towering of a man that she will call dad one day and feel the love that only a dad can bring. I’m so proud of Josh and Sarah and pray for strength and blessing as God has entrusted them with such a precious life, a little princess. God Bless!
