George As Teacher
George had teachers whom he looked up to, both in the Church and his vocation. He recalls admiring Pastor Guy Brafford at a young age, who taught the Word of God. He was always a strong man with a tender heart. This carried through George’s life as it gave him a foundation upon which he could build life.
As soon as George began to read, he gained the ability to remember and put into practice most subject matter. This ability put him in positions that allowed him to become a teacher to others. As a leader, George had a mentor who instructed him to teach others what he could do, and it would allow him to move on to greater opportunities.
As George continued to learn whether in college, on the job, or as a Pastor, he was always looking to train his replacement. Throughout his life, he is pleased to say that this has been accomplished.
