George As Pastor

George knew from an early age that he felt a calling on his life. He wrote a paper when in the fifth grade when the teacher asked, What do you want to do when you grow up? His answer was to go to LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, CA, a Foursquare Church school.

He had the privilege to start and organize a church in Waterbury, CT. It was he and his wife, and two boys who worked to reach out to the community. George has worked with young people while serving on the State Youth Board for the Church of God, New England.

George was asked to go to Williamson, WV, to pastor a church that had a beautiful new building. Working with the State Office and the local community, George was able to resolve some issues that stunted the church’s growth. Putting things in place both physically and spiritually, God gave the increase. He saw the need to appoint a local person to pastor, and the church continued to grow.

George was then appointed pastor at the Hilliard Church of God. While facing another church with issues that needed to be addressed, God gave direction for the church to move forward.

George and his family decided to find a church that they could make their home church. After a short time, George served in a number of positions, one being associate pastor. While sitting under the direction of each pastor, George learned a lot, and his goal was to promote the pastor and his passion.
